Clean Your Washing Machine to Eliminate Bad Odors and Limescale

Steps to follow

Step 1

Remove the detergent drawer and wash it with lukewarm soapy water. Use a toothbrush for corners.

Step 2

Clean the drum seal with a cloth soaked in white vinegar. Remove dirt stuck in the folds.

Step 3

Pour 1 liter of white vinegar directly into the drum.

Step 4

Add a cup of baking soda into the drum (watch out, it foams!).

Step 5

Run an empty wash cycle at high temperature (60°C or 90°C).

Step 6

Clean the drain filter (usually located at the bottom of the machine) by placing a mop underneath to catch water.

Step 7

Leave the door open after each wash to air out and avoid mold.
